Chiefs Take Arkansas RB Davis

Posted by bfreeman on April 27, 2013

Knile Davis was nearly a Missouri Tiger.  Now he’s headed to the Show-Me State again. After giving Alex Smith protection in the form of Eric Fisher in the first round, the Chiefs helped their backfield, drafting Knile Davis out of the University of Arkansas.

Davis left the Razorbacks after 3 seasons, rushing for 1822 yards and 19 TD’s in his 4 years in Fayetteville.  He missed the 2011 season with a severe ankle injury.

He’ll team with Jamaal Charles in the Chiefs’ backfield in 2013.
