Kansas City led for the first time at home but it didn’t last.
Ryan Succup’s 34 yard FG with 8:31 remaining in the first quarter gave the Chiefs their first lead at home in 2012, but the Bengals would 21 unanswered and go on to win 28-6 in Arrowhead.
Both Brady Quinn and Matt Cassel played under center for the Chiefs. Quinn was 9/14 for 95 yards while Cassel was 8/16 for 93 yards. Jamal Charles had 17 carries for 87 yards.
Kansas City fell to 1-9 on the season and welcomes Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos to Arrowhead Stadium next Sunday at noon.
