Kansas City trailed going into the meat of the fourth quarter, but they continued to save their best for last as 13 unanswered points secured a 26-17 victory and kept the Chiefs undefeated.
Jamaal Charles scored the only offensive touchdown for the Chiefs, grabbing the lead for KC with his one-yard run, capping a 10-play, 66-yard drive. The Chiefs forced two Ryan Fitzpatrick interceptions and iced the game with the final two of four Ryan Succop field goals.
The other Kansas City scored came on a fumble recovery of a muffed punt return by Tennessee.
The Chiefs’ 5-0 record gets its first divisional test in Week Six as Kansas City hosts the Oakland Raiders for a noon kickoff at Arrowhead Stadium.
