Chiefs Overwhelmed in Cleveland

Jamaal Charles raced 80 yards for a TD on the Chiefs first play from scrimmage.  Then they played the rest of the game.After the Chiefs led 7-0, Cleveland scored 30 unanswered points for a 30-7 victory Sunday in Cleveland.

Cleveland got their scoring started on a Travis Benjamin 93 yard punt return for a TD in the second quarter.  That gave them a 10-7 lead at the half.  After the break, it was two Trent Richardson TD runs and two Phil Dawson FG’s.

Charles would finish the day with 165yards on 18 carries and the 1 touchdown.  Brady Quinn was 10/21 for 159 yards and 1 INT in the game.

With the loss, KC falls to 2-11 on the season and 1-5 on the road.  They’ll be on the road next week as well as they travel to Oakland to take on their long standing rivals, the Raiders.  They’ll kick at 3:25 on CBS.
