The Chiefs came into the game looking for their first lead of the season, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had other ideas.
Tampa Bay scored first on a 62 yard TD pass from Josh Freeman to Mike Williams. They’d roll to a 38-10 victory in Tampa. Freeman would finish the day 15/26 for 328 yards and 3 TD passes.
Brady Quinn got the start for the Chiefs, in place of the injured Matt Cassel. He was 22/38 for 180 yards and 2 INT’s. They were led on the ground by Jamaal Charles who had 40 yards rushing on 12 carries for the Chiefs.
KC falls to 1-5 on the season and is 1-2 away from Arrowhead Stadium. They have their bye week this upcoming weekend before hosting the Oakland Raiders on 10/28 at 3pm.
