Chiefs Coordinators Coming Into Shape

New Kansas City Chiefs Coach Andy Reid is wasting no time assembling his staff.

Reid is expected to tab former Philadelphia Eagles QB Coach Doug Pederson as his Offensive Coordinator and former Jets Assistant Bob Sutton as his Defensive Coordinator.

Pederson is most known for being the primary backup for Brett Favre in his Super Bowl-winning years with the Packers. Reid was a Packers assistant at the time and had Pederson on staff in Philadelphia.

Sutton served many roles with the Jets since 2000, including Defensive Coordinator from 2006 to 2008. This past season he was Assistant Head Coach and Linebackers Coach for Rex Ryan. Sutton had a nine-year tenure as the Head Coach of Army, where he went 44-55-1 from 1991 to 1999.
