Masterson was an American League All-Star for the Indians in 2013, and pitched on Opening Day this season. The Jamaican-born pitcher was on the DL at the time of the deal with right knee soreness, but was scheduled to return Friday for the Indians. Now it appears he could pitch Saturday for the Cardinals in Milwaukee.
Masterson has struggled this season, with a 4-6 record and 5.51 ERA in 19 games with Cleveland. Ramsey has batted .300 at AA Springfield this season, with 13 home runs and 36 RBI in 67 games.
