The St. Louis Cardinals now have a 1.5 game lead in the NL Central after their 6-1 win over the Cincinnati Reds.
Allen Craig was responsible for two runs scoring, one on a double-play groundout and another on an RBI-double in the sixth. Joe Kelly won for the fifth time in six starts, and the Cards have won each of the last seven times he’s taken the mound.
St. Louis now leads by 1.5 games over Pittsburgh and 4.5 games over Cincinnati in the National League Central. The Cardinals have won 10 of the 14 games they’ve played against the Reds.
