The Baltimore Orioles hit six home runs during a 12-2 win over the Cardinals at Camden Yards.
St. Louis starter Justin Masterson lasted only 2 innings, allowing five runs on seven hits, two of which cleared the wall. Newly-recalled Nick Greenwood and Seth Maness also allowed two deep flies apiece. The Cardinal offense consisted of A.J. Pierzynski’s first home run in St. Louis, a two-run shot in the seventh. The visitors mustered only four hits.
