Greg Zuerlein’s field goal with 40 seconds left secured the St. Louis Rams’ opening weekend victory over the Arizona Cardinals, 27-24.
Bradford hooked up with tight end Jared Cook with a 25-yard pass play to put St. Louis into Zuerlein’s range. Cook caught both of Bradford’s touchdown passes, the latter of which the Rams signal-caller added a run for a two-point conversion.
Tavon Austin caught six passes in his first NFL game for 41 yards as the Rams won for the first time on opening day in seven years.
