There would be no late game magic for the Blues in Game 3.St. Louis saw its series lead trimmed to 2-1 after the Kings won 1-0 Saturday evening in Los Angeles.

The Blues’ defense was good throughout the game, allowing just 21 shots to Brian Elliott, but Slava Voynov saw one slip through in the second period for the 1-0 advantage.

St. Louis was relentless on Kings goalie Jonathan Quick, attempting 30 shots, but the goalie turned each one away.

The series remains in the city of angels for game 4 Monday at 9pm.
