Blues Set Franchise Wins Record

The Blues defeated the Sabres 2-1 giving them 52 wins on the season, that is a new franchise record.

The Blues are now tied with the Boston Bruins with 111 points at the top of the NHL standings The Sabres the worst team in the NHL with just 51 points.

The Blues got goals from Max Lapierre and Brenden Morrow scored the goals for St. Louis as Brian Elliot earned the win in net. Ryan Miller sat out the contest and did not face his former mates.

The win gives the Blues 52 on the season, a new franchise record. St. Louis now sits with 111 points, good for a first place tie with Boston for the best in the NHL.

Blues have weekend games with Colorado and Chicago.
