It was a slow start for the St. Louis Blues at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, but that didn’t stop the Blues from keeping their strong start going.The Blues used a 3 goal second period to race past the Dallas Stars 4-3 Saturday Night.
After one period of the game, the Stars led 2-1 over St. Louis. However, two goals by David Perron and one by Chris Stewart gave the Blues a 4-2 lead after two periods. The Stars scored a goal early in the 3rd period to make it 4-3, but Jaroslov Halak blanked the Stars the rest of the game to secure the win.
St. Louis improves to 4-1-0 on the season. They’re second in the Central division behind currently undefeated Chicago, who is 5-0-0. They’re back in action tonight as they welcome the Minnesota Wild to the Scottrade Center at 7pm.
