Blues Collapse In Chicago

The St. Louis Blues allowed four goals in the third period to lose their fourth straight to the Chicago Blackhawks, 5-1, eliminating them from the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

St. Louis went 0-for-6 on the power play, yet Chicago scored on its first man-power advantage on wrist shot by Jonathan Toews. Patrick Sharp scored his first goal of the series less than two minutes later on a breakaway despite taking a high stick.

Andrew Shaw and Duncan Keith added goals later in the period to crush the Blues, as they fell to a defending champion for a second straight season after having a 2-0 series lead.

Chicago advances to the conference semifinals to await the winner of the Colorado Avalanche and Minnesota Wild series.
