Who is Brian Elliot again? The St. Louis Blues, who had the best goalie tandem in the NHL a season ago with Halak & Elliot now have another phenom in net and his name is Jake Allen.

Brian Elliot was the surprise star of last season. Elliott led the NHL in goals-against (1.56) and save percentage (.940) last season.

Chris Kerber, the voice of the Blues talked about the goalie situation earlier this season with the Big Show on KTGR.

He was the lone Blues All-Star player and he was the only goalie who didn’t play organized hockey during the lock-out…and it has shown.

This season he has been horrible with  a .851 save percentage and 3.65 GAA in 11 games.

Jake Allen is younger (22) and in hockey you have to ride the hot goalie right?

-When does Jaroslav Halak start seeing more regular game action? If Halak is Batman he has got himself a new Robin for the rest of the season. In a what have you done for me lately league and a team that has pressure to win now,  you have got to go with the kid.

The Blues have 4 winnable games in front of them with Oilers, Flames, Oilers & Kings but the big question right now is:

Who should be the starter in goal for the Blues?
