Five runs in the fourth inning helped the Milwaukee Brewers defeat the St. Louis Cardinals, 6-3, Tuesday night.

Sean Halton had a three-RBI day including two in the fourth around run-scoring singles from Scooter Gennett and Logan Schafer. Norichika Aoki capped the rally with a sacrifice fly for the fifth run.

Yadier Molina homered in the top of the fourth, but the offense fizzled out, allowing Kyle Lohse to beat the Redbirds for the first time since leaving St. Louis in the offseason.

The Cardinals dropped a game in the standings to the Pittsburgh Pirates, who blew out the San Diego Padres, 8-1. St. Louis and Milwaukee play the final game of their three-game series Wednesday afternoon, with coverage on KTGR at 12:15 PM.
