It was another long afternoon for the Mizzou women’s baskeball team on the road in Fayetteville, Arkansas.Missouri struggled to score throughout the game, never really getting into the contest and falling to the Razorbacks 61-40 Sunday afternoon.
Missouri started the game strong in the first four minutes of the game, entering the under 16 timeout tied at 4. From there, the Razorbacks took over, going on a 13-0 run before Sydney Crafton put in a layup just before the under 8 break. Things didn’t get much better for the Tigers as they trailed at halftime 33-11.
The second half saw marginally better results as the Tigers slowed the Razorbacks on the defensive side, but could never get anything going on offense, scoring one of their lowest point totals of the season.
Bri Kulas led the Tigers with 13 points in the game. She was the only Tiger in double figures for the game. Three Tigers, Liz Smith, Crafton, and Morgan Eye, tied for the rebound lead with 6 and Crafton led the team with 5 assists.
It’s the third consecutive loss for the Tigers, who are now 15-11 on the season and 4-8 in the SEC. Missouri returns home from their road trip for a Thursday contest against the Bayou Bengals from LSU.
